My research interests are:

• Advanced computer system architectures
• High performance processors
• Parallel and distributed processing
• Parallel and distributed approaches for content-based multimedia retrieval
• Computer vision and image processing/transmission
• Software prototyping environments for evaluating parallel systems & algorithms
• Heterogeneous computing

Current research projects have centered in (a) parallel and distributed approaches for content-based multimedia retrievals and b) processor allocation strategies for dynamically partitionable parallel architectures.
