Research

My main research interests are in the areas of digital and analog design of VLSI circuits, VLSI systems applications, design and implementation of Micro-Sensors using Micro and Nano Technology. Microsystems that integrate Microelectromechanical devices (MEMS) and electronics. Examples of our devices are Chemical Gas Sensors, Biosensors, and RF-MEMS. Our research group works in collaboration with local National Laboratories and with the Industry.

I have published over 220 technical papers in the general Areas of Circuits and Systems, Microelectronics systems design, VLSI circuits design, and MicroElectromechanical systems. I have also contributed to several books. I am the director of the Institute of MEMS and VLSI Technologies at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, GWU.
